Lauriers d'Antioche (Aleppo soap) comes from the hot saponification of two selection oils: Olive oil and Laurel oil.
Olive oil has excellent softening properties and when converted into soap, it is a powerful cleanser. Laurel oil has soothing, antiseptic, disinfectant and regenerative properties. The rich bay oil used in these soaps comes from Antakya (Antioche) laurel trees.
